Main function: The print head wiper is responsible for cleaning the UV print head between print cycles. It is located near the print head and is designed to remove excess ink, debris and foreign particles that could clog the print nozzles.
Material: The head towel is usually made from soft, absorbent materials such as felt, rubber or silicone. These materials are chosen for their ability to gently clean the print head without damaging it.
Automatic Movement: In many UV printer models, the wiper is mounted on a moving mechanism that allows it to automatically move toward the print head during the cleaning process. This ensures complete and even cleaning of the entire print head surface.
