Capping for UV Printer
Operation: The capping is a moving part located near the UV print head. It is usually made of rubber or soft silicone. Capping is designed to cover the print head when not in use, protecting it from dust, drying and nozzle clogging.
Cleaning the print head: When the UV printer is running, capping plays an important role in cleaning the print head. It creates a seal around the print head and forms a light suction, helping to remove any excess ink, debris or foreign particles that could clog the nozzles. This process ensures high quality prints and reduces the risk of print defects.
